Learn Korean alphabet Hangeul
Hangeul was created in 1443 by King Sejong and scholars at Jiphyeonjeon (Hall of the Assembled Sages). Prior to the creation of Hangeul, spoken Korean was transcribed using Chinese characters. However, because Chinese characters were difficult for the common people to use, access to the Chinese transcription system was limited only to the privileged classes. Hangeul was invented to enable ordinary people to express their ideas easily in writing
Hangeul can inscript almost all human sound by using 24 basic vowels and
consonants. The principle of shaping Hangeul is as following. Basic vowels are composed with and ), which indicate heaven, earth, and man, respectively. The shapes of the basic consonants reflect the formations made by the mouth, lips, teeth, tongue, and throat during sound articulations.
Hangeul is one of the most scientific and creative writing systems in the world. Hangeul is phonetic writing which is written in accordance with sound. So, you can easily write Hangeul by learning the characters for only a few hours. Furthermore, with 40 characters including 24 basic characters and 16 derived combinations of these 24, you can inscript almost every human sound.
Basic Korean Vowel Characters
Korean has 10 basic vowel: ㅏ,ㅑ,ㅓ,ㅕ,ㅗ,ㅛ, ㅜ,ㅠ 1. The Korean vowel characters are written from top to bottom and from left to right.
Basic Korean consonant characters
Korean has 14 basic consonant characters: ㄱ, ㄴ, ㄷ, ㄹ, ㅁ, ㅂ, ㅅ, ㅇ, ㅈ, ㅊ, ㅋ, ㅌ, ㅍ, ㅎ,
As with the vowel characters, the Korean consonant characters are written from top to bottom and from left to right.

The sounds that are not represented by the basic characters are written by combining more than one basic characters.

The combined vowel characters are ,ㅐ,ㅔ,ㅒ,ㅖ,ㅘ,ㅙ,ㅚ,ㅝ,ㅞ,ㅟ,ㅢ
Consonant Characters
Some consonant characters are formed by doubling a basic consonant character: T, ㄸ, ㅃ, ㅆ, ㅉ
